What am I still doing here?
I wish that I could disappear
I'm too damn tired to stand on my own two feet
I'm not as young as I pretend to be
My ears still searching for the hum
The ring that rattles through my tongue
Please tell me you can hear it too
A glimpse of what I'm going through
But with all I have to complain about,
It's cool
Every day it's all the same
The games you play, the shifting blame, it's such a shame
Every day its all that same
Stuck in a daze, wasting away
Luckily it doesn’t phase me anyway
Every day its all that same
I cant feel this way forever
But it still hurts like hell when I try to control my temper
We cant get through this together
So I'll search like hell until I discover something better
The verse "Can't even buy a coffee without exploiting someone" got me. It really hits hard. For the entire length of the album it felt like the end of the world.
But to be perfectly honest, it's just how life is these days. And it's fucked up. szczur
